Rafting

And why not rafting in the Alps?

What is Rafting in Savoie?

It is the sporty descent of rivers cut by rapids, in a boat called a raft. It is a large, totally unsinkable, inflatable canoe that can usually carry up to eight people, with a qualified helmsman, each of whom manoeuvres the boat with a paddle. Originally from the United States, where it was originally practised for military purposes, this sport has only been practised in France for about twenty years. It is a sport that requires above all a team spirit. It is an ideal activity to practice with family or friends.

The equipment necessary for this activity?

To go down the rivers and rapids of the Alps, part of the equipment is provided by the provider such as helmet, life jacket, neoprene suit, waterproof windbreaker... But the other part is your personal equipment, and comes down to what you put in your backpack when you leave or what you wear, i.e. swimming costume, closed shoes, towel, sun cream, sunglasses attachment if necessary and disposable waterproof camera.
